"I write to you today with a head full of sadness and a heart full of hate. I woke up to the news that Benazir Bhutto (the first female prime minister of any Islamic nation) was assassinated Thursday after addressing a large gathering of her supporters in Pakistan.

Why was she killed? For being a woman? For seeking equality? For ignorance? For power? For hate? So ask yourself ....who benefits from our silence. From our apathy?

So what can you do?
Get informed, get involved. Educate yourself on the plight of women in this world and in our own history.

In protest & condemnation of her assassination, we ask that everyone who reads this to stand with us in solidarity.

Write a blog.
Write your political leaders.
Repost this bulletin.
